Our Classes

At Learn with Zeba, we provide engaging, confidence building weekly classes for primary aged children. Every lesson is designed to support academic progress while nurturing creativity, curiosity, and wellbeing. Our weekly classes focus on improving and challenging children’s reading, writing and maths. All classes are available online or in person. Whether your child learns best from the comfort of home or in a structured in person setting.

We encourage group classes with six children per group because it is a fantastic way to learn, ensuring personalised support alongside peer learning and collaboration. Group classes build confidence in a supportive environment, and offer an excellent affordable alternative to 1:1 tuition.

Our classes are designed to be inclusive and supportive so every child including those with special learning needs can thrive, build confidence and make progress at their own pace.

For a truly personalised experience, you can create your own group consisting of 4-6 children and enjoy learning together in a supportive, collaborative environment.

WRITING CLUB

CLASSES FOR EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Our creative writing sessions nurture creativity, clarity, and confidence. In small groups, children are guided through the writing process step by step, with plenty of encouragement and practical strategies to bring their ideas to life.

Each session balances core writing skills with opportunities for self-expression. Children build on the foundations of grammar, punctuation, spelling and sentence structure, while also exploring vocabulary, style, and organisation.

Classes are structured to include:

  • Warm-Up (10 minutes): short, engaging tasks to spark ideas and practice sentence-level skills.

  • Main Focus: guided teaching on key writing styles (e.g. narrative, persuasive, descriptive).

  • Independent Writing & Sharing: children apply what they’ve learned through structured tasks, with feedback that builds confidence and celebrates progress.

By combining technical skill with creativity, our writing programme helps children become confident, thoughtful writers — ready to express themselves with fluency and flair.

MATHS CLUB

CLASSES FOR EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Our maths sessions create a calm, engaging space where children can consolidate their learning and grow in confidence. With small group sizes, every child receives focused support from a qualified teacher.

Our programme follows a mastery approach, tailored to each year group, and always links learning to everyday life. Children are guided step by step, from using concrete resources to pictorial representations before moving on to more abstract concepts.

Each class is carefully structured:

  • Fluency (10 minutes): quick retrieval practice to strengthen core skills.

  • New Learning: focused teaching of key year group concepts.

  • Problem Solving & Reasoning: multi-step challenges that develop deeper understanding and resilience.

This balance ensures children leave each session with. both stronger skills and greater confidence in their maths.

READING AND PHONICS CLUB

CLASSES FOR EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Our Reading and Phonics sessions are designed to build strong foundations in early literacy while nurturing a lifelong love of reading. Whether your child is just starting their phonics journey or looking to deepen comprehension skills including inference, our small-group approach ensures they receive the focused support they need.

Each session combines phonics, fluency, and comprehension in a structured yet engaging way:

  • Phonics Foundations: supporting children with blending, segmenting, and recognising tricky words using systematic approaches.

  • Fluency Practice: guided reading activities to develop pace, expression, and confidence.

  • Comprehension & Discussion: exploring meaning, making inferences, and building vocabulary through rich texts and age-appropriate stories.

Children also take part in fun activities such as games, storytelling, and partner reading to make lessons interactive and enjoyable. Parents receive clear feedback on progress and ideas for how to continue supporting reading at home.

By combining structure with creativity, our Reading and Phonics programme helps children become confident, independent readers — laying the foundation for success across the curriculum.
